I am delighted to announce that after a very challenging adjudication process, I Will Be Good has been accepted to the 15th Annual New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). FringeNYC provides a tremendous endorsement for the show and a great opportunity to generate even more exposure. FringeNYC, The Moth, and other professionals’ actions state that this story needs to be told. To do this, I need your short-term help to cover costs.
I’m thrilled to report an anonymous donor has given a lead gift of $2,000. I invite you to donate an amount that works for you. Here’s how:
There are two ways to donate:
- Online, which is quickest and easiest.
- By check made payable to Fractured Atlas, with I Will Be Good Productions in the memo line. Please send contributions to Tricia Rose Burt, PO Box 214, Hancock, NH, 03449.
I’ve formed I Will Be Good Productions, which is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions on behalf of I Will Be Good Productions are fully tax-deductible. Contributions will help successfully:
- market the show in a very competitive New York market
- create merchandising
- refine lighting and sound design
- pay production staff
- cover travel expenses
Last year we raised nearly $15,000 of our $36,000 goal, which helped produce engagements in New York, Nantucket, and Tampa. In this second effort, my hope is to reach our initial fundraising goal by raising $20,000 to ensure a successful FringeNYC performance and lay the groundwork for future engagements. The show’s success in New York will have major and positive consequences for future dates and venues.
