Biography

TRICIA ROSE BURT (Writer/Performer/Co-Producer) is both a performance and visual artist. In the spring of 2011, she will be featured on both The Moth Radio Hour and on The Moth Mainstage. Her one-woman show, I Will Be Good, debuted in New Hampshire in December 2008. Her first performance piece, Answered Prayer, was performed in Boston in 1995. For the past 10 years, Tricia has worked both as studio artist and arts administrator, including curatorial and gallery management positions, as well as university lecturer. Prior to becoming an artist, Tricia developed and managed communications, marketing, and training programs for several of America’s leading business institutions, including Harvard Business School Publishing and Fidelity Investments. In addition, she produced numerous large-scale special events as well as community radio programming, which focused on Broadway and West End shows. In the early 1990s, she attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston to redirect her creative energy from business to the arts. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, she maintains a studio and lives with her husband in Hancock, NH.
